Graduate of CU Boulder with a BA in English (Concentration in Creative Writing). I received a 4.0 GPA in writing, a 3.6 GPA in English, and a 3.45 GPA overall.

Experience

I have previous experience tutoring college students (freshmen, sophomores, and juniors) primarily in writing. I worked one-on-one with students to perfect and structure their academic papers, helping them learn the most effective techniques to improve their grades, grammar, and overall writing skills. With my strong background in English, I am also very interested in working with students in literature courses. I also worked as a writer for a venture capitalist in Orange County, CA, where I edited his presentations, business plans, and correspondence, and managed his blog. I love teaching, and tutoring provides a great outlet for that. Working closely with someone allows me to tailor my style to meet their needs--if you would prefer to focus on grammar and syntax, we'll focus on that. If you just need help with your thesis and the dreaded intro and conclusion paragraph, we'll make sure that's our number one goal.
