Experience

I am currently an instructor and TA at the University of Colorado Boulder. I have taught courses on political economy, comparative politics, American politics, and international relations. In addition to my teaching duties I also tutor student athletes for the Herbst Academic Center. Prior to my time at CU: I taught in South Korea for a year; substitute taught grades 6-12; was a SAT prep instructor for Catalyst Prep; tutored for 1 on 1 Academics; and coached High School basketball.

I have a number of interests that include athletic activities such as basketball, football, hiking, climbing and biking. I also love to travel, and have visited much of Asia and Latin America. Before starting my PhD program in 2011 I traveled and taught with my wife throughout Asia. Specifically going to South Korea, China, Japan and Thailand.
